We procure materials that have the least adverse effect on the environment, local residents and employees. We choose supplies from sustainable sources, where applicable, and opt for less hazardous / friendlier substitute products when available. We also procure to exact quantities to avoid waste and ensure that waste materials are disposed of correctly, re-cycled or re-used. We also buy from suppliers local to our sites wherever possible, to minimise vehicle delivery distances. We are keen to minimize our impact on the environment in whatever way we can, and to be a responsible employer and a good neighbour in the communities in which we operate.
